Adinci is a location-based advertising marketplace. People earn Adinci coins by visiting places and viewing ads in the Adinci app; zone owners, advertisers, businesses and distributors use the app and the website adinci.com to run their activity. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Adinci app for Android and to adinci.com.

1. Who we are

Adinci is operated by legal name and address. For any question about this policy or your data, write to contact email.

2. What we collect

Account details you give us. Your email address and password (the password is kept only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider), full name, phone number, age, gender, country, city and the type of account you choose (user, zone owner, advertiser, enterprise or distributor). If you add them: a profile photo, a company name and a short description.

Location, in the app.With your permission, the app uses your phone's precise location, including while the app is in the background, to notice when you enter an Adinci zone, to show you the ads and offers there, and to credit your rewards. We store your zone visits (which zone, when you entered and when you left), the place where you viewed a rewarded ad, and location checks (position, accuracy, speed, and whether your phone reported a simulated location) that we use to stop fake-location fraud.

Location, on the website. If you allow it in your browser, your location is used to centre the map and to find what is near you.

Your activity. The ads shown to you and the ones you watch, your visits, the offers you take and redeem, the coupons and vouchers you redeem, your rewards and your coin balance. For businesses: the zones, campaigns, branches and staff you manage.

Money. Your deposits, withdrawals and coin movements: the amount, the method, the payment details you give for them (for example a D17 phone number or a wallet address) and their status.

What you send us or other users. Chat messages, support requests and their attachments, reports, and the images and videos you upload for your profile, your zones or your ads.

Device and technical data.An identifier of your app installation (your device's Android ID, the install time and the app version), used to sign and check rewards you collect while offline; crash reports from the app (device model, system version, app version and technical details of the error, without screenshots and without your personal details); your browser type when you accept the zone purchase agreement; and the standard logs our hosting providers keep (IP address, browser).

Distributors.Your shop's name and type, city, address and phone number, and the position and opening hours of your shop sign on the map.

3. Why we use it

• To create and run your account and the features you use.
• To detect your zone visits, show you ads and offers, and credit your rewards.
• To prevent fraud, such as fake locations and duplicate claims.
• To give zone owners, advertisers and businesses statistics about their zones and campaigns (section 4).
• To process deposits, withdrawals, purchases and voucher redemptions.
• To answer your support requests and handle reports.
• To keep Adinci secure and to fix crashes.
• To notify you about offers near you. These notifications are created on your phone; you can turn them off in your phone's settings.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising outside Adinci.

4. What other people can see

• Other signed-in Adinci users can see the public part of your profile: your name, photo, city, country and account type, and for businesses the company name, description and verification status.
• The people you chat with see the messages you send them.
• Zone owners and advertiserssee statistics about their zones and campaigns: numbers of visitors, age groups, gender, times and amounts. People appear as numbers (“Person 1”), not by name. Businesses see the names of their own staff.
• Anyone with the link can view the images and videos uploaded for ads, zones and profiles.
• Everyone using Adincican see distributors' shop signs on the map (name, location and opening hours).

5. Service providers that receive data

We use these providers to run Adinci. Each one receives only what it needs for its task.

• Supabase: our database, sign-in and file storage. Your account data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union).
• Vercel: hosts adinci.com and keeps its server logs.
• Mapbox: maps, place search and directions. It receives the map areas you view and the places you search for or ask directions to. Mapbox's own privacy policy applies.
• Sentry: receives the app's crash reports, which are stored in the United States.
• YouTube (Google): some ads are YouTube videos. When you watch one, YouTube receives your IP address and device information and may use cookies under its own policy.
• ipapi.co: when you open the sign-up form on adinci.com, your IP address is sent to ipapi.co to guess your country and pre-fill it.
• Google Maps: only when you tap “Directions”, we open Google Maps with the destination.

We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect Adinci and its users against fraud.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers (for example Mapbox, Sentry, Vercel, YouTube and ipapi.co) may process data outside Tunisia and the European Union, including in the United States.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account (see adinci.com/account-deletion), we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days. Records of money movements are kept without your name or contact details for as long as accounting law requires. Server logs and crash reports are kept by our providers for their standard periods.

8. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored with a provider that encrypts it at rest. Access rules in our database let each account read only its own private data, and coins and money are moved only by checked server-side functions. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach affects your data, we will act to contain it and inform you as the law requires.

9. Your choices and rights

• See and correct your details in your profile, or ask us for a copy of your data.
• Delete your account and your data: adinci.com/account-deletion.
• Location:you can refuse or withdraw location access in your phone's settings at any time. Without it the app cannot detect your zone visits or credit visit rewards; you can still use the parts of Adinci that do not need your location.
• Notifications: turn them off in your phone's settings.
• Object or complain: write to us at contact email. In Tunisia you can also contact the national authority for the protection of personal data (INPDP).

10. Children

Adinci is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger people. If you think a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its date, and announce important changes in the app.
